Port Douglas located on the Coral Sea in the tropical far north of Queensland, Australia.
It’s known for its beach resorts and as a base for visits to both the Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest reef system, and Daintree National Park, home to biodiverse rainforest.
In town, Macrossan Street is lined with boutique cafes and restaurants. Curving south is popular Four Mile Beach. Its beautiful climate has an average annual temperature of 28 degrees and a average minimum of 22 degrees.
It is serviced by Cairns airport which is a picturesque drive to the south on the world heritage listed Cook Highway. Cairns airport has direct flights to all major Australian cities as well as many gateways in Asia.
